- Hexed is a screen oriented tool that allows changes to be made
- to a binary file. The screen displays 256 bytes at a time in both
- ASCII and HEX formats. Changes can be made by moving to the desired
- location and typing over the existing values.
-
- We hope that the use of hexed is mostly self-explanatory.
-
- Hexed can search for either ASCII or HEX strings. All of the available
- function keys are displayed on the bottom of the screen.
-
- A change can be undone by moving to the changed location and pressing
- the undo key. It is also possible to exit without saving the changes
- by pressing F10 and answering No, so feel free to experiment.
